Nadira Tudor is currently a News Anchor and Correspondent for RT International, broadcasting mainly the Moscow studio. She presents and reports on international breaking news and generic news stories of the day. Expert analysis from specialists and analysts is commonplace and Nadira is able to interview these subject matter experts to ensure that all angles are covered. Nadira has covered Brexit, the Syrian conflict, world elections, disasters, the 2018 World Cup and international politics, to name but a few.
She began her career at the BBC as a producer, reporter and presenter simultaneously. She has worked across several networks of the BBC, diversely across factual, entertainment, current affairs and news; from the prestigious BBC Radio 4 to BBC Wales, BBC Radio 1 & 1xtra, BBC 5 Live, BBC Drama, BBC News, BBC Three, BBC Business and BBC Asian Network.
Her corporate career has led her to star in adverts and numerous commercial ventures including Samsung Galaxy “The Beginning”, Aardman Animations and Flybe. She is the voice for one of the largest tech companies in the world, Yandex, numerous educational programmes and memorably, the last Durex campaign in the UK!
Nadira has also worked as a MC, host and moderator for many years, chairing conferences, conducting interview, facilitates company meetings, moderates political and topical debates and hosts awards ceremonies. Her most recent as MC & moderator for the Global Manufacturing & Industrialisation Summit – GMIS 2019. Others include FIFA/Gazprom (Football for Kids World Cup 2018), Regional Media Conference for Journalists (Tula, Russia), WOHAA Awards ceremony and as a moderator and communications trainer for numerous military organisations including NATO, UK MOD, Royal Navy, Allied Rapid Reaction Corps (ARRC).
In 2015, she won the highly acclaimed Asian Professional Award for Media and previously, an Innovation Award for the BBC, as well as receiving a nomination for the Mental Health awards whilst presenting for BBC Radio 1Xtra.
Nadira’s parallel career as a specialist in Media Communications reflects her continuing expertise and interest in Education and she holds a Masters degree in Intercultural Communication for Business and Professions from Birkbeck University, London undertaken to compliment her practical knowledge. She is also a guest lecturer for a number of universities, including the prestigious Cardiff School of Journalism, Leeds, Manchester & Liverpool universities.
Her life in front of the camera and behind the microphone has allowed her to test many a mean machine, work alongside the world’s military, interview numerous celebrities and prominent figures as well as a myriad of fascinating people not in the public eye. She feels that she is truly privileged in her work.
Nick is a multi-award winning, highly experienced media professional.
He’s also active in the fields of education, training and social policy - ranging from his participation at the Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit 2019 in Russia and being central to the Green Bay Media team which secured and ran the Welsh Government’s Project Dynamo initiative overseeing a programme of training and workshops harnessing storytelling to enable inspiring speakers to help students consider starting their own business as a career. The natural overlap between Nick’s work as a media executive and the education, training, coaching and development sectors means that he has devised and managed numerous products for the public and private sectors and for individuals. These range from creating a senior broadcast module for the University of Glamorgan to delivering bespoke interview training for individuals in the job market.
For many years he was a senior executive and Creative Director for the BBC including English Language Commissioning Executive for BBC Wales a role specifically created to allow him a ‘roving brief’ overseeing any project, across all platforms considered to be strategically important, problematic or without precedent, or at risk. He was responsible for all programming, all content, branding, technical and resource development and all staff and budgets upwards of £15,000,000.
As a consultant, conference Chair, moderator, workshop or panel delegate he can handle a wide range of conference content from Media and industry innovation, economic and environmental topics to history and cultural commentary.
In addition to his educational commitments, delivery of training and ongoing media, communications, strategy and change management consultancy, he is currently director and founder of Little Brown and Big White a Multi media company and e-selling platform with a weekly reach of over 100,000 followers on Facebook alone specialising in cross-cultural commentary and author of ‘Waiting for the Wolf’, part of the Bloodstock Trilogy - a historical fiction series.
